Protein Crystals

Crystallized glucose isomerase (GI). 25 mg/ml GI, 250 mM magnesium formate dihydrate and 0.7 mM yttrium chloride were solved in water and mixed. The picture shows the sample after 17 hours at room temperature.
Picture taken by light microscopy using a polariser for the colors.
